Danny Krivit grew up in a musical family, along the way meeting massively influential artists; from Jimi Hendrix to John Lennon, James Brown to Nile Rodgers. A fixture at some of NYC’s most legendary underground clubs, his professional DJ career started in 1971 and is still going strong. Known as the “King of the re-edit” for his scratch mixing skills, he’s been a major global force in bringing attention and acceptance to the art of editing and has producer/editor/mixer credits on well over 300 records.
