Over the past two decades, Deline Briscoe has established herself as one of this country’s finest Indigenous singers. A strong Yalanji songwoman from the Daintree Region, she has worked with Archie Roach and Emma Donovan and toured the world with The Black Arm Band and Mission Songs Project. Her impressive solo debut album Wawu interweaves Wungkabadi (Yalanji traditional singing) with jazz, hip-hop and soul.
