For 25 years Artefactum have brought a rich understanding to the musical repertoire of the medieval era. The Middle Ages in Spain personified the contrast between monastic simplicity, life in the taverns, the royal courts and the poor pilgrims trekking to Santiago de Compostela. This beautiful ensemble takes you across time in a tapestry of rousing chants, viola, organetto, hurdy-gurdy, percussion, bagpipe and the ancient crumhorn.
The participation of Artefactum (Spain) is made possible with the support of Acción Cultural Española (AC/E), who supports the participation of Spanish music group, Artefactum through the Programme for the Internationalisation of Spanish Culture (PICE), in the framework of the Mobility Grants.
