The Pin is an online discussion platform run by biracial Australians for all Australians. Created by friends Lucille Cutting and Nkechi Anele, host of Triple J’s Roots ‘n’ All program and lead singer of Saskwatch, The Pin explores contemporary thoughts on race, identity, and culture in Australia. Through online content and offline discussions in real spaces, The Pin enables people to think, meet, and express in a safe and accessible way. At this rare live session of The Pin, you’ll get to know Remi Kolawole (Remi x Sampa) and special guest N’fa Jones.

Among the founders of the Australian hip-hop tapestry, N’Fa Jones (pictured right), stands out with his contributions through 1200 Techniques. Since his incredible 2006 solo album Cause an Effect, he has collaborated with multiple artists and producers including the likes of Roots Manuva, Mr Yoshiaki (Black Eyed Peas), and Ghostface Killah, made his mark overseas under the name No Fixed Abode, and most recently birthed a new musical project, Cool Out Sun.
