It’s been a phenomenal 2017 for the ‘Fresh New Prince’ as he’s known in the Top End. He won twice at NT Song of the Year Awards and nabbed top honours in triple j Unearthed’s NIMA Competition. A multi-talented, multi-lingual artist, working across rap, dance, acting and graffiti, he hopes to inspire younger generations to embrace their culture and become leaders.
Workshop
Baker Boy and music wingman Dallas Woods will take you through Baker Boy's process of getting ready to dance live on stage. From fun warm-up and stretching routines through to practising a few of his tricker moves like the infamous 'air-spins' you’ll get a chance to learn a few of his ’safe’ dance moves so you can join him next time you catch him on stage.
