The Pilgrim
Melbourne-based, Chilean-born artist Astrid Mendez presents the delightful ‘micro puppet show’ The Pilgrim (El Peregrino) where, for six minutes, a one-person audience becomes part of an intimate story unfolding from a tiny stage hanging from her body. Once they sit and put on headphones, the spectator becomes a ‘spect-actor’ and an active part of The Pilgrim’s curious journey.
