Founded by jazz violinist Julian Ferraretto in London in 2012, [big] String is a string ensemble with the groove of a big band and the soul of a gospel choir. They return to the festival – having been guests of WOMADelaide 2016 artist Eska - with a new audience listening experience, unplugged and in the round.
