MUSIC WORKSHOP
This is BaBa ZuLa inside and out! The four musicians from BaBa Zula will give the lowdown on their instruments – the electric saz, electric oud and darbuka drum – and the electronic equipment they use for sampling and to create rhythms. They’ll compare their instruments with more traditional instruments like guitar and bouzouki, provide a historical backdrop to Turkish music and how they’re linked with it, and generally demystify how they compose their music.
