These include Nganampa Music, where artists from the APY Lands undertook singer-songwriter workshops with Kev Carmody, The Tjanpi Desert Weavers, where traditional weaving artists joined forces with Adelaide contemporary textile artist Sandy Elverd, the fabric artworks by Tiwi women screen printers, the Three Anangu Stories archival project, and the commissioning of 60 unique hand-painted artworks per year exhibited as "Flags of the APY Lands."

THE PLANET TALKS

The Planet Talks are staged in the historic Speakers Corner of Botanic Park where since the 1880's speakers have gathered to debate the issues of the day. This ambitious program of discussion and debate features stimulating and inspiring Australian and international speakers, with the sessions exploring a range of new ideas and topics that deal with our sustainable relationship to the planet and aim to provide a forum for informed discussion about a range of global environmental issues and ways to address them in a constructive way.

THE SPIRIT OF INDIA FUND

Following the bequest by Mohindar Dhillon, the founder of the Nataraj Cultural Centre which, since 1980, has been instrumental in bringing the finest exponents of classical Indian Music & Dance to Australia from India, the Foundation, together with Michael Abbott AO QC (a long term supporter of Mohindar's work) has established The Spirit of India Fund which will perpetuate Mohindar's extraordinary cultural legacy by ensuring the ability to fund the continuing presentation of Indian cultural performances at WOMADelaide.
