WOMADelaide 2017: Presented by the Hackett Foundation

We are thrilled to announce that WOMADelaide will once again receive the generous support of Simon Hackett and the Hackett Foundation in presenting WOMADelaide 2017. Hackett (pictured above as a guest Planet Talks panelist in 2016) is a long term supporter of WOMADelaide, having attended since the very first event in 1992.

Simon Hackett said “on behalf of the Hackett family and the Hackett Foundation, I’m thrilled to be renewing our support for 2017. The event is wonderful and our participation in it is a joy.”

Director, Ian Scobie, said on the continuation of the partnership “for the 25th anniversary presentation of WOMADelaide next year we have some significant special projects planned and it is difficult to imagine that we could have even considered the scale of next year’s program without the wonderful support once again of the Hackett family through the Hackett Foundation. The continuation of their amazingly generous philanthropic support for the festival makes a huge difference in enabling the continued development of WOMADelaide for its audiences and the broader community.”
