Farewell Bob Brozman
On 23 April Bob Brozman passed away at the age of 59. Bob played at WOMADelaide 2001, 2003 (with Japanese collaborator Takashi Hirayasu) and 2011. Not only was Bob a talented and prolific musician, he was a warm and witty guy who connected beautifully with his audiences.
His family’s formal statement remembers him as a musical innovator known as the “King of the National Guitar” and details his recently-established Global Music Aid Foundation which aims to provide instruments to musicians in third-world countries.
