Spanish singer/songwriter/guitarist Jairo Zavala formed Depedro as a solo project after years spent performing with Calexico, Vacazul and 3000 Hombres. Reflecting the Madrid native's love of Latin folk, flamenco, Afro-beat and rock, Depedro’s third album features input from seminal afrobeat drummer Tony Allen, Joey Burns and John Convertino from Calexico and Australia’s Bernard Fanning.
