PLEASE NOTE: We strongly advise you not to purchase tickets from any unauthorised third-party sellers (Viagogo etc.). Be aware that there is no authorised ticket reseller of WOMADelaide tickets - we can not guarantee the legitimacy of tickets acquired via third parties and customers have been scammed in the past.

*Each adult ticket purchaser is entitled to bring two children 12 years and under for free. Additional tickets can be purchased for a small fee.

Ticket Information

Children's Tickets

Children 12 years and under

As our capacity is reduced in 2022 we have a limited number of children’s tickets and there will be a small charge for additional children’s tickets. Each adult ticket purchaser is entitled to bring two children 12 years and under for free, and additional Children’s tickets can be purchased at $25 for a festival ticket OR $10 per single day. Children aged between 1-12 will be required to wear a barcoded wristband which will be scanned in and out of the park. Children must enter with a responsible adult and unaccompanied children will not gain access.

Youth tickets

Discounted tickets are available for youths aged 13 – 17 years old.

Group Bookings

Group Bookings close Monday 7 February 2022. Group priced tickets all from the same category can be purchased via the links above. We can also accommodate a mix of tickets to achieve group 10 pricing (based on Adult 4 or 3 Day tickets only). Please email tickets@womadelaide.com.au for more information.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available for purchase in any amount. Please contact tickets@womadelaide.com.au to purchase.

All vouchers MUST BE REDEEMED prior to the festival. They will not be redeemable at the gate.

Refunds

Please choose your ticket(s) carefully. In accordance with Live Performance Australia’s Code of Practice for Event Ticketing, event management does not offer refunds for the following reasons:

  • Failure to attend the event
  • Change of mind
  • Changes to the line-up/program
  • Inclement/severe weather - this is an all-weather event
  • Late attendance
  • Refused entry or eviction from the event
  • Event dissatisfaction
  • Fear of exposure to COVID-19

Refund exceptions are:

  • If you are travelling to South Australia from interstate and cannot attend WOMADelaide due to COVID restrictions you can request a refund. Please email tickets@womadelaide.com.au, providing supporting documentation.
  • Where a ticket purchaser is required by public health order to self-isolate or quarantine due to testing positive for COVID, or by being a close contact of a COVID case. With supporting documentation, refunds will be issued.
  • In the unlikely event that WOMADelaide is cancelled, rescheduled and/or relocated, the full value of the ticket(s), shall be refunded.

Concession Categories & Companion Cards

CONCESSION

The following entitle you to a concession priced ticket:

  • Full-Time Student
  • Australian Pension Card holder
  • Centrelink Health Care Card holder
  • A Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) card
  • YHA member

Please note that you must bring relevant proof of concession as you may be asked to provide this at the gates. A Seniors Card does not entitle you to a concession ticket.

COMPANION CARDS

WOMADelaide is a participant of the National Companion Card scheme, offering disabled patrons holding a current companion card a second ticket for their accompanying companion at no charge. When you arrive at the Festival Box Office present your National Companion card, our staff will then allocate a corresponding complimentary pass. There is a limit of one companion pass issued on a daily basis. When attending the Festival for multiple days and retaining the same companion, a 3 or 4 Day pass will be issued to your companion. For further information please visit www.companioncard.gov.au/

Your Wristband

A confirmation of your order will be emailed upon purchase. Please note this is not your entry ticket. All purchasers will be allocated a barcoded wristband, and this wristband grants you entry and exit to the Festival. We anticipate postage of wristbands will start during February.

Your wristband is your access to the festival. Every wristband is uniquely identified by both a barcode and RF coded tag, linking the wristband to the purchaser. Fit your posted wristband prior to your arrival at the festival, or you can be assisted upon entry. Gate sales will be allocated a wristband corresponding to your ticket type upon entry. You must leave your wristband on for the duration of its validity.

Passes are non-transferable - you cannot share your multiday pass. Once a wristband is removed it becomes void.

If your wristband is lost or stolen, please contact us or attend one of the festival box offices. Your missing wristband will be cancelled and a replacement wristband issued.

Contact tracing requirements

It is a condition of purchase and of entry to the event that correct contact information (name and mobile number) is provided at point of sale. This information will identify your entry to assist contact tracing if required. These details will only be made available to SA Health should the need arise and will not be disclosed or used for any other purpose. Providing contact details is a condition of sale. This also applies to complimentary tickets and staff tickets. If people are unwilling to provide their contact details, they will be refused entry.

Passouts

Passout are offered. However you must ensure you scan OUT if you want to return to the festival on the same day in order to scan IN again.

Selling Your Ticket

Please view the SA Government consumer guidelines for selling and purchasing tickets to events here. The only official agency for this event is WOMADelaide through our authorised ticketing partner IWannaTicket. There is no authorised ticket re-seller of WOMADelaide tickets.

PLEASE NOTE: Only tickets purchased via authorised agencies should be considered reliable. If you purchase tickets through Facebook, Viagogo, Ticketmaster Resale or the like, you risk that these tickets are fake, void or have previously been cancelled.

Fees and Charges
