WOMADelaide and Ecoconscious present Ecoville, a place where you can chill out, learn and participate in a world where environmental problems become solutions, and everything is good for the earth.

Ecoville will provide an empowering interactive insight into our contemporary environmental challenges, and leave its audience with practical and innovative solutions. Interactive ecotalks will be held on a broad range of up to the minute topics, with high profile speakers. In 'Its not waste till you waste it' workshops, leading artists will help participants use wastes collected at the festival to make tetra-pak wallets and purses, beautiful bags, jewelry and more.

There will also be functioning eco-living elements interwoven throughout Ecoville such as solar panels, rainwater tanks, permaculture and native plants, greywater treatment reedbeds and more. A chill out zone will include an interactive public art work using Womadelaide stallholder waste; fruit, and vegetable exchanges and plant propagation workshops, organic herb teas & lemonade, Smooth Revolution bicycle powered smoothie makers, and more.
