The festival selects around 100 stalls each year (45 food, 35 crafts and 20 display). Please note that WOMADelaide has a capacity of 20,000 people per day, so stallholders with extensive experience, including work at other large-scale events and festivals, are considered favourably. Vans selling hot chips, Dagwood Dogs etc are not suitable, as the food on offer at the festival is of an international, gourmet nature. Stall selection takes place in November and all applicants will be notified of the outcome by mid-December. Applications have now closed for 2008.

Healing Village:

The format and curation process for the Healing Village will be determined before the end of the year and applicants will be contacted in January. We are no longer taking expressions of interest for the Healing Village for 2008.
