Original and comical, The Spurting Man dissects the unequal relationship between the famous, pompous performer, The Spurting Man, and his downtrodden assistant. Presenting two vastly different shows, The Dream Engine will be a highlight of the festival. Heliosphere, a massive helium balloon with an acrobat delicately suspended from it, will float over the crowd and treetops and don't miss Conedancers, a frenetic dance piece on an eight-metre-high inverted cone. www.thedreamengine.co.uk

Nalin makes beautiful hand-carved wooden, clothed puppets, and small, painted papier-mache puppets, and dramatises stories that have been passed down through his family over generations. Before WOMADelaide, he will lead workshops in the art of carving and puppet-making in association with the Community Arts Network, then perform his delightful puppet theatre in KidZone.
