Ingo Weber


A practising anaesthetist at the Lyell McEwin Hospital and former GP, Dr Ingo Weber is a committee member and former SA Chair of Doctors for the Environment. In addition to speaking widely about the topic of climate change and health in Universities, hospitals and conferences around Australia, he also teaches medical students from Flinders and Adelaide universities about the topic in a course titled Health Professionals and Society.

Dr Weber, who in addition to practising full-time in Australia and Europe, says that in view of the disastrous implications of global warming for human health, educating medical students about climate change is crucial.
