DakhaBrakha (meaning ‘give/take’) call themselves an ‘ethno-chaos’ group. For the past five years or so, this award-winning, theatrical quartet of multi-instrumentalist singers has been experimenting with Ukrainian folk melodies and rhythms, under musical director Vladyslav Troitskyi. DhakhaBrakha create wild and unforgettable music that is at once sacred and modern.
