Defying the current Ethiopian bias towards hip hop and pop singers, UK musician/producer Nick Page (Transglobal Underground) has a different take; a dub-influenced exploration of Azmari, traditional Ethiopian styles and 1970s grooves with singers Sintayehu “Mimi” Zenebe and Tsedenia Gebremarkos, Teremag Weretow on fiddle, Ethiojazz star Feleke Hailu on sax and Samuel Yerga on piano.
