Public Opinion Afro Orchestra, the brainchild of three Melbourne musicians, is introducing contemporary African funk to Australian dancefloors via original compositions that echo the pioneer Afrobeat movement of the 1960s and 1970s. This mammoth 19-piece group features special guest vocalist, the poet and MC Tumi Molekane from South Africa.
