Formed in 2001, this eight-piece Melbourne band led by guitarist Lance Ferguson has earned international acclaim as masters of deep funk and super-heavy soul. After successful tours of Europe and the UK in 2006 and 2007, The Bamboos’ live shows have evolved into non-stop mixtape-style throw-downs that draw links between hip hop, soul, funk and old-school breaks.
