Having learned to play the kora since the age of four, Mamadou Diabate has been embraced by musicians from jazz luminaries Donald Byrd and Randy Weston to blues masters Eric Bibb and Guy Davis. At WOMADelaide, he will perform a one-off solo set, with his famous kora-playing cousin Toumani Diabate joining him for several thrilling duets.
