Did you know that Zoos SA is a conservation charity, a not-for-profit and non-Government? At Adelaide Zoo and Monarto Safari Park we work tirelessly to save species including the Chimpanzee from extinction.
Through visits and experiences we help to fund conservation programs and partners including the Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary and the Jane Goodall Institute Australia (featured in WOMADelaide’s Planet Talks).

Monarto Safari Park is home to a troop of 12 Chimpanzees including little ones Enzi, Hope and Zola (Hope was named by Jane Goodall).
