Lights, colours, action! Final 2015 Program Announced

02 December 2014 | Line Up

In 2015, Botanic Park will host amazing spectacles of colour and light with the addition of two brand new events to the WOMADelaide program. Waiting for you amongst the trees will be an extraordinary maze of winding paths, saturated colours and dancing lights inside Architects of Air's breathtaking installation Exxopolis. Resembling a beautiful towering Mosque from the outside and a Gothic Cathedral with soaring 10-metre domes on the inside, Exxopolis will be a space to explore and connect, to lose yourself or simply enjoy a moment's quiet reflection amidst the festival buzz. Generously supported by the Hackett Foundation.

2015 will also feature a brand new daily spectacle all the way from France via India. A procession of colour and dance set against the setting sun, Artonik's Colour Of Time is an interactive homage to India's traditional Holi festival. Join Artonik's dancers and musicians at sunset as they lead us in a choreographed parade toward the finale of expoding rainbow shades of gulal powder.
