He began his cooking career in several Thai and Indian Restaurants in Melbourne, before moving to Adelaide in 1995. Simon has been head chef at some of Adelaide's most renowned restaurants and hotels but is perhaps best know for his role on ABC TV's The Cook and The Chef.
