Bundi
has been djing for 4 years after going out many a night dancing and being
insipired by the tunes. After returning from an overseas trip in 96 with
turntables and records, Bundi locked himself away for a good six months
and came out only for food and new record supplies. Since then he has played
at many parties throughout Australia and is a resident of the Clinic( Adelaide’s
underground identity)
alongside HMC, dce and dj bold.
He now plays every Saturday
night at Adelaides best club, spectrum- at Cargo Club, Sunday nights at
the austral, Friday nights rotating between robotics, the garage, bar fina,
fad and guest spots at Heaven.
He has played at Australian
raves such as Every Picture Tells A Story (melb), Two Tribes in Melbourne
with Ian Pooley (Ger), Eric Powell (Bush Records), Der Ditte Raum (Germany),
Strange Days 1, 2 and
3, The Rooftop 1and 2,
Strawberry Fields, Atomic Energy 1 and 2, and supported DJ’s and
live acts in Australia with The Advent , Derrick May , Richie Hawtin, Gene
Farris , Jeff Mills , Steve Bicknell , Marco Carola , Stacey Pullen, Christian
Smith , Adam Beyer , Cari Lekebusch, Stacy Kidd , Joey Beltram Mike
Dearborn ,DJ Q , Gemini , and The Mystik Journeymen , Umek, Common Factor,
Recloose, MC Ribbz, Nukleuz , Joel Mull, Herbert, Devilfish, DJ Rush, Sven
Vath and many more.
He has also played at
the Love Parade 2000 in Berlin as well as other gigs in Berlin ( Tachesles),
Frankfurt ( Groove club tour/ Spectrum) and Madrid ( Via de leade).
A DJ who is best
suited to 3-4 hour journeys, his sets range from deep, funky tek -house
through to tribal edged techno to slammin’ techno twisted with vocooders
and hard drum patterns. He is guaranteed to keep the crowd on its feet
and never gets predictable as he constantly builds excitement from the
dancefloor.
Bundi also runs Red Light
District a record store in Adelaide selling underground techno, tek – house,
house and electro. The store has been open for 3 years and sells all local
releases.
Bundi’s production
for the next 12months will see releases on a few well known labels like
Vast, Knee Deep, Aztec Records and Undefined Recordings.
