MUSIC WORKSHOP
This workshop will present several traditional Sahrawi percussion patterns showing various composition styles and how they express different feelings, as well as demonstrating the fusion of this wonderful music with other Western African and Mediterranean Folk rhythms. The audience will get to learn and practice a Sahrawi traditional rhythm and then accompany Aziza Brahim, drummer Aleix Tobias, percussionist Sengane Ngom and guitarist Pep Mendoza on one of the songs from Aziza’s last album Abbar el Hamada at the end of the workshop.
