Workshops

Dance Workshops

Start your day with a dance! Learn from Adelaide experts Fusion Beats (Bollywood dance, Fri), Ruby Dhatura (Tribal Belly Dance, Sat), Steve Goldsmith (Kaurna traditional dance, Sun) and Flamenco Areti (Mon). Or choose from a dozen other exciting workshops led by the festival's visiting artits - they're all free and open to most ages.

Schools' Program

WOMADelaide’s program for up to 150 school kids aged 8-12 runs from 10am – 2.15pm on Friday 7 March in Speakers Corner.  Enjoy a Taste the World, a session with the Adelaide Botanic Garden, a workshop with Mokoomba (Zimbabwe) and be part of the festival’s opening day Artist Welcome/Media Conference.  The Schools' Program for 2014 has now BOOKED OUT.

Carclew Workshops

Carclew, South Australia’s peak youth arts body offering inspiring creative development for children, young people and early career artists, presents a program of FREE artistic and culturally diverse workshops.
 
Tailored for children aged 5-12 years, Carclew workshops will be offered across Saturday, Sunday and Monday with each workshop session catering for up to 20 participants. For more information on the workshops CLICK HERE.
