Master percussionist Yasar Akpence, founder of Turkish percussion group Harem, returns to the roots of gypsy music with his latest project, Harem’de. Having made a leap from traditional folk to the pop charts, Harem’de meshes traditional songs with energetic dance styles, all underpinned by three extraordinary percussionists.
