WHITIREIA PERFORMING ARTS (New Zealand)
Whitireia Performing Arts mix the spiritual power and drama of Maori culture with the joyous energy of Samoa and sensual Cook Island rhythms. A 14-strong troupe of current students and graduates from the Wellington-based tertiary college present traditional and contemporary New Zealand dance, focusing on authentic movement, musicianship and costuming.
