Feisty and fuelled by spontaneity, sultry young fado singer Ana Moura explores Portugal’s answer to the blues in a fresh, vital way. She sang rock music in her early 20s, but the plaintive and evocative sound of traditional fado has become Ana’s great musical strength and passion – with her admirers stretching from the Rolling Stones to Prince.
