WOMADELAIDE 2001 program highlights
  Frank Rodi
Frank Rodi has been a leading force on the global/electronic music scene for
many years, establishing the first ever youth music program for SBS radio
called Alchemy. Subsequently he transformed his Alchemy concept into a
successful television show for SBS, now into it’s fifth season.

Frank's knowledge of music is extensive - covering everything from global
music through to funk, hip-hop, fusion, house, techno and dub.  He has
worked tirelessly to expose fresh new sounds from around the world and has a
particular interest in finding and promoting innovative local talent in
Australia.

You may also be familiar with Frank’s contributions to the World Music Show
on Triple-J, and as a regular backup announcer/DJ for Jaslyn Hall. His work
has extended out to clubs and festivals throughout the country where Frank
has DJ-ed his infectious set of grooves to appreciative crowds both young
and old.

"Wozone will be a great opportunity to play music rarely given prominence in
the mainstream, and to experiment with a wide selection of tunes and
styles".
